Wheel Bearing Repair DIY Car Diagnosis & Fix Replacement Volvo Amazon Wagon Video Review This is just a quick follow up video to the test drive I did of this Volvo Amazon Wagon and it had the grinding noise that I wasn’t sure what it was. Well we took it apart and thought it was the outer bearing at first but it ended up being the inner wheel bearing that was bad. Well after two parts to the parts store because they gave us the wrong part we got it back together and now it’s as good as new. Good primer for this stuff. Β First time I noticed a "wheel bearing noise" in a vehicle was back in late '96, I was test driving a 1993 Buick Century overnight (to home, work, back to dealer after work to decide between it and a 1993 Dodge Dynasty…I got the Dynasty) and I didn't now why it would groan and grind on light right turns…and they told me they replaced the wheel bearing a week later before someone else bought the Buick.
