The sedan will be available at the end of the year.
Volvo announced a subscription service named Care by Volvo late last year. The XC40 crossover inaugurated the Netflix-like service. Now, the Swedish brand has confirmed plans to add the recently-unveiled S60 (pictured) to the list of available models.
Customers will have two trim levels to choose from. The T6 Momentum model will cost $775 per month, a figure which includes maintenance and insurance. It will be available by the end of the year. The sportier T6 R-Design will cost $850. Finally, the Polestar-tweaked T8 model will be offered in limited quantities; Volvo hasn’t released pricing information yet.
Care by Volvo has launched across the United States after minor delays, the company added.
“Care by Volvo deliveries are happening daily across the country. We are awaiting final paperwork from Massachusetts and New York so we may begin deliveries there. That should be any day now,” Volvo spokesman Jim Nichols told The Car Connection.
Volvo customers who’d rather subscribe than buy will have two cars to choose from by the end of the year. We know the brand also wants to add certified used cars to the service, though it hasn’t provided a time frame yet. There’s no word on whether bigger models (like the XC90 and the V90) will join Care by Volvo.
