Scotty I live in Florida where it has been extremely hot the last few days and I want to ask a question concerning what oil to use in my 2005 Colorado. It calls for 5W30 and I use full synthetic high mileage oil since I have 172,000 miles on it. My mechanic says it is ok to use 10W30 since we are in hotter temperatures. Is that the right thing to do since I have that many miles on that 3.5 liter 5 cylinder or should I be using the recommended 5W30?

Scotty, would you buy a 90 honda civic with a standard or a early 2000s honda civic with an automatic transmission? For reliability of course

hello scotty, really enjoy your content. the japanese auction system is really good, generally the cars are in good condition with you having a inspection report prior including both positive and negatives and a good history. i purchase cars every month from japan and once you buy a good grade with a good inspection you're ok. due to the regulations in the country it isnt wise to keep a vehicles more than 4 years old cuz of the high tax so the auctions are used for both local n international buyers. if anyone is interested in buying vehicles from japan hit me up.

Not on the road but a dyno. I would say it's 30% off real world readings.
