That's true about alignment, if you can't eliminate vibration at certain speeds then you need a "special" alignment. I've been told the machine to do that costs over $250,000 and mostly used on exotics. Speaking from experience.

Scotty, You have a great series of videos. Its a highlight of my day to watch a couple of your videos. QUESTION: Can an old DIY shade tree mechanic like my self get ahold of a service tool that will reprogram and test a GEM (Generic Electronic Module) on an older Ford? My GEM malfunctioned on my 1999 Ford Explorer (with 41,000 miles I'd like to keep it if possible). By the way, what can cause a GEM to fail?

I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma with 4wd. I got it with 150,000 miles and now it has 250,000 on it. Should I put new diff. fluid in the front and rear diff.? I don't know if anyone ever changed it.

The Thunderbird I got was so far out of alignment it needed aligned 3 times to get it right. The Toe was a full half-inch off where it should have been, the cambers were far too negative, and the yaw angle of the car wasn't even close. The first time, he said, the machine wouldn't even read. He adjusted it down and then checked again, and aligned it. I got it that day and the steering wheel was still not centered, so I took it back the next day and now it's correct. the car was hit in the sides, and I know I curbed it once when I was still learning where its limits were, but I'd say the thing was just neglected.

I got a 2011 Nissan versa in the shop, they hit a curb, it has only toe adjustment, they are screwed, all I can do it put on new lower control arm and used rim. and hope for the best, the alignment shop might be able to put shims behind the wheel bearings to tilt the wheel in or out,
