Hi Peter… Must say that I really enjoy watching your vids… I hope u put up some more on your cobra "kit" car…
I have a question about buffing out "big" scratches on a plastic fender… I saw the video u made for the santa fe… I have a hyuandai Trajet and my wife scratched that back fender very badly… do u have any tips how to go about?
    Greets from Sweden…

Tack så mycket. Det är trevligt att höra från dig. Plastic is a bit more tricky than metal. Can you email me a picture of the scratch and a close up photo so I can see it in detail? That way I can give you a much better idea on how to fix it. Greets from Buffalo, NY where Nick Wallenda walks over the Niagara Falls tonight.

    You do some amazing work!
When I get around to restoring my Daytona I hope it comes out as beautiful as that Mustang you restored. Did you take auto body and shop classes or did you just learn everything on your own?

  4. Pete's Garage

Thank you very much my friend! I learned myself by practicing and learning from many mistakes. You can learn it do a great job on your Daytona. Just have patience and don't settle for less than perfect. It is either right or wrong in my eyes. Approach every job with that thought in mind and you will do great work yourself. Thank you very much for watching!

wow most of the paint jobs i see by me have massive amounts of orange peal ive only found one place that makes sure theres no orange peel on the car

  6. Pete's Garage

That's because it takes 3 times the work to make sure it is flat. They either don't know how to do it, or are afraid to charge for it. I won't let orange peel out of my shop.

  7. Lmidden2

it makes all the difference getting rid of the orange peel. the one place i no that gets rid of the orange peel there actually the cheapest place to get body work done.

Have a qualified paintless guy come in and remove it for you. You'll thank yourself in the end. Make sure tech has at least 5yrs experience.

  9. Geoffrey Rawlings

shame we didn't see paint going on.
