Technically, Bondo doesn't dry, it cures. It's a chemical reaction of a filled (thickened) polyester resin and a peroxide catalyst.
To speed up Bondo hardening you can use a heat gun or heat lamp.
I was using bondo way back in the early 60's. Back then it was a brand named Black Magic.
