Great stuff
Hi Scotty! So i (blindly) attempted to 'follow the advice' of another guy on here…advising that, 'to check if it's either your Battery or Alternator going out….simple!….just have your vehicle running, and disconnect the Pos. Terminal on Batt…and if engine 'Stay's running….It's Not the Alternator. Result: Electrical Chaos, throughout my Cars system. 1st thing it did by all appearances…was send a Voltage Surge, which resulted in causing my Driver Side Window in a '99 Montero Sport…to …Not be able to Roll back up. ( funny thing was…the switch WOULD…let me roll it down….just not …UP?? would that still mean it's the Window Motor in the door?….anyway…. checked the 10amp fuze under the dash…but, it was good…and ONLY the driver side was affected ( taking that to mean, because it's the 'Master Controller?) so…fuze angle eliminated. could it have 'blown out' a Relay somewhere?… other than that…must be the Motor huh?…. Thanks for any Advice!
more like replace than fix
Soooo useful. This is gonna be my next project. Hope this video can be the start of success!!
Love u bro
Thanks Scotty
I found out the hard way to test before reassembling yesterday. but at least taking a door apart isn't as challenging as replacing head gaskets that I did last month.
Did this today! Just as easy as the video. Thanks yet again Scotty!
Please help..my window works fine, the passenger and rear driver side work but only with my buttons, they cannot do it even with the window lock off..and the rear passenger window has never gone up or down..can someone tell me the parts I need?
