I'm gonna give this is a thumbs down becuase a couple issues
1. You didn't sand back the paint past the rust. There was still ring of rust around the chip.
2. No rust converter added on it to further remove rust
3. Wrong primer used, thats not for automotive.
4. You didn't mention to wipe the area with a degreaser like isopropyl alcohol before priming.

Might wanna add that one might wanna get rid of all rust before doing the job… it's up to the person. More you remove the slower the rusting process bc rust is cancer

You know you can have a company put your car's paint in a spray can and ship it to your house. Automotivetouchup com I've never used it, but looks more convenient than buying spray tools.
