Had a friend who had a 2004 Highlander from new and it didn’t even last 100,000 miles before the engine needed to be replaced. Just junk.

    Hey Scotty!
Help! Should I buy a 2006 RAV4 limited edition V6 with 89k mikes in excellent condition for $7400, or a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe for 4000 with 96k miles in “excellent condition” (doesn’t appear as excellent as Toyota , but still good. – I’m looking for a reliable used car. Willing to pay the extra if it means it in the long run – does either have other issues that could go wrong with it over the other???

Just say it Toyota is the best brand!

If you want the choice of AWD/4WD you gotta get a V6 Highlander.

The 4 cylender does not come with All-wheel-drive nor with third row seats. Only the v6.
