Scotty I had a 2013 Mustang and both front airbags were recalled first the drivers side and a year later the passenger side. Then the windshield wiper connector in the cowl shorted out resulting over a $600 repair on a car with 30K miles. Also plastic trim pieces began to fall off the car. I traded that for my 2019 5.7L Hemi Challenger which is a fantastic car and way more solid in every way. My 2018 Jeep Laredo is also a gem and my wife's 3.6 L Journey has done well and going strong at 76K with only regular oil changes one new set of tires and one Brake Job. I gave up on Chevy 13 years ago after 2 bad S-10 Trucks and a crappy Malibu with A/C the dealer could not fix and an expensive fuel pump failure. For me now it is MOPAR or no car now. I am not in the market for a full size Truck but if I was I would buy the Ram with 5.7 Hemi and German ZF 8 speed transmission which is in both the Jeep G/C and my Challenger. Many MOPARS get a bad rap because some lazy mechanics used the wrong fluid Dextron in the transmissions instead of ATF-4 or put generic power steering fluid in the pump instead of the correct ATF-4. The only complete screw up was the 2.7 Liter V-6 which was a defective design which I luckily never bought because I thought it was too small and too complicated.

98 ram 216k miles! No issues! I'd never spend 60 plus on a new ride! Scotty don't bad mouth an older truck!! $1800 for a tranny is pocket change brother!

    I'd rather push my F-150, than drive a Dodge…

Well the airbags aren’t really a big problem because those trucks have also been recalled because the driveshafts might break and fall out . If you don’t have a driveshaft you don’t need airbags.

Yeah, electric vehicle charging infrastructure is still in its infancy. But someday, SOMEDAY, nearly every home in Amurica will have electricity. Folks will be able to charge their cars right in their own garages!
