I bought a Toyota Yaris for $4,500 about 4 years ago and I’ve only put under 1,000 in a new clutch ,new battery and new tyres , personally I think it’s been a great buy ,Cheap to run and reliable

They look crappy and if they become unreliable, forget about it!👎

Quality always suffers when Japanese companies allow us to build them. We all know why. Just look at the workers.

Sounds like Toyota forgot to send the check

These brand-new or newer Toyota's, Honda's, Acura's and Lexus' suck now, even the older ones. If you go for an older used vehicle, but not too old (depends on which brand and model for reliability and gas mileage), it can last for a long time or forever, but do not keep the vehicle too long – normally five to ten years or more than ten years of ownership. That is the golden rule, when you plan to get your first vehicle, when you are a new, solo driver or a used vehicle, between your years of driving experience. By the way, I am interested to get an older, 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe mid-size SUV, but only 2WD (FWD) with the 2.4 L four-cylinder engine and the regular four-speed automatic transmission. Another suggestion for me, I want to get an older, 1997 Dodge Avenger four-cylinder coupe, with the 2 L four-cylinder engine with 150 horsepower and also the regular four-speed automatic transmission. I am usually a fan of the Avenger most likely, but least likely the Santa Fe. What are your thoughts on one of these vehicles?
