DIY car maintenance: how to make your own rain repellent | AUTODOC
For protection against bad weather in spring and summer, use rain repellent.
It forms a protective film on car windows which effectively repels water.
You can make rain repellent at home: mix 50 ml (about 1 cap) of laundry rinse with 250–300 ml of water.
Apply the fluid you’ve prepared to the windscreen, and evenly distribute it.
Please note that this agent has a short-lived effect: after a car wash or heavy rain, you will have to repeat the procedure.
