i'd actually have tried manipulating that little doohickey by hand before using the puller … since you'd get way more control (?)
Don't do it like this guy puts the tool. Put the feet in a way so they are not digging into the curved door skin.. They show it digging into the door skin creating more damage, the mini lifter is oriented in the wrong direction.
For $99 I would have come to your house repaired it perfectly. You wouldn't be able find it with a camera. Out of sight out of mind. Hire A Pro.
I saw a guy at the mall, he said 5 dents on different body panels on a Porsche Cayenne was £80 for the lot to be done ($100-$110 US) and only needed the car an hour.
After watching one of the demo videos, it appears that on the last try (when it didn't 'pop') you should have screwed the center knob in. From what I can see, that knob isn't there just to make the thing look pretty, it picks up the slack on the longer stemmed pads.
